We are happy to announce to the entire Gresol Community that this past January GIAS and Clarion University of Pennsylvania have signed a cooperation agreement to engage in various international education, teaching, and research initiatives that will benefit both institutions.
With this institutional collaboration, Gresol International-American School (GIAS) becomes the first international school that has signed a cooperation agreement with Clarion University in Spain. This new collaboration is one more step forward to our commitment of developing a unique International American educational project guided by the hands of experts in the field of education and pedagogy.
Some of the activities that we are seeking to develop include creating new teaching and research opportunities, fostering student and professional mobility, providing student and professional training. This new partnership will also provide an opportunity for cultural exchanges and intercultural learning through various activities, including seminars, workshops, conferences, courses, and publications.
Starting this month, we will begin working together to identify specific projects and activities that will put into practice our agreement. This coming May, we will be delighted to receive in our school a delegation from Clarion University´s School of Education who will visit our campus and the local community.
Clarion University’s School of Education is very much looking forward to partnering with Gresol. We hope to build a strong and long relationship that will benefit both of our communities.”
