Taking advantage of the ‘Science Days’ we have had talks about awareness of cancer through Albert Garcia, volunteer of Marató and Eva Soriano, researcher and mother of the school.
The G8 students have also made some origami workshops (the art of bending paper) and we all are already making crane. We will exchange them for 1 euro each one we make through Mútua Greneral de Catalunya. We encourage all of you to follow the instructions in the attached tutorial (made by Félix Navarro, G10) and to get the maximum number of possible cranes in the school (you can request special papers in the reception desk, put your name, paint them, etc.)
Thanks to this initiative from La Marató and the celebration of the ‘non-uniform day’, students, families and all the staff of Gresol International-American School want to give our support and contribute for cancer research and care. http://www.ccma.cat/tv3/marato/en/
