After enjoying a great family party last Friday, the Harvest Festival, Gresol students have enjoyed two more celebrations this week: Castañada and Halloween.
On Tuesday morning, Early Years students made ‘panellets’ with their teachers and our chef, Ricardo. After lunch, the little ones had a good time with the Castañera, who explained her great trip from the mountains to the school. 1st Grade & 2nd Grade students joined them to eat chestnuts and sweet potatoes.
On Wednesday morning, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade students made ‘panellets’. Later, Elementary students celebrated Castañada eating chestnuts and sweet potatoes.
To enjoy Halloween, Early Years and Elementary students could come dressed up from home to participate in the parade and costume contest. Besides, Early Years, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade students knocked on the Middle School door for their “Trick-or-treating”.
